The appartment "the Lapwing" (de Kievit) is situated in the Coach House behind a 19th century former notary residence on the Middelweg in the village of Uitgeest. Both carried out in the old Dutch style.The Coach House has been completely renovated and provided with all modern comforts ( see also "the Lapwing" in the main menu) , ideal for two adults and possibly for one or maximum two children.
The Cuckoo
Appartment "the Cuckoo"(de Koekoe) is situated in the former stable, and has been carried out in "Zaandam" style and can equip 6 persons ( two persons on the ground floor and 4 persons on the 1st floor) and is an ideal accommodation for a family with teenage children, two couples or a pair of friends (see also "the Cuckoo" in the main menu).

Both appartments are situated in the centre of the rural aquatic sport village of Uitgeest directly at the "Alkmaarder" lake.All shops for your daily needs and restaurants are at a stone's throw. Uitgeest is ideally located as regards to beach (only a 10 minutes' drive by car), lakes, polders and towns and has its own train station.
The towns of Amsterdam, Alkmaar and Haarlem can all be reached within 15 à 20 minutes either by train or by car. So this cosy place is an excellent starting point for beach and city trips.
